Booking

How do I book a session?
Please submit an inquiry through my contact form for the fastest response. Once we’ve confirmed a date and time I’ll send the deposit invoice and contract for review and submission.

How far out should I book?
I recommend booking 3-6 weeks in advance. Peak summer season can often book out 6-8 weeks.

Do you require a non-refundable retainer?
Yes, a 50% non refundable retainer is required upon booking.

When is my session confirmed?
Your session is confirmed after your contract is signed and the retainer has been paid.

Availability

Do you offer weekend availability?
I’m currently available for sessions during both weekdays and weekends.
Please be aware that weekends fill up significantly faster, and public locations are typically much busier.

What time of day is best?
It really depends on what type of lighting you like, time of year, as well as the location! I’m happy to help guide in choosing the optimal session time for your goals.

What locations do you serve?
My sessions include travel within 25 miles from the Portland, Oregon area. Locations further away will require an extra charge to compensate for added mileage and time.

Non-Refundable Retainer

What is a non-refundable retainer?
A non-refundable retainer is the amount paid to reserve your session date and time on my calendar, meaning I will decline other inquiries for that slot. The non-refundable retainer is applied toward your total session investment.

How much is the retainer?
The non-refundable retainer is 50% of your total session balance.

When is the retainer due?
The non refundable retainer is due upon booking, then confirming your session.

When is the remaining balance due?
The remaining balance is due the day of your session, minimum 2hrs before start time.

Communication

What is your preferred method of communication?
Please email for all important booking inquiries- including quotes, availability, payment, reschedules, cancellations, and refunds.

Instagram DMs are welcomed for quick, non-time sensitive questions or sharing inspiration photos/quick links.

When can I expect a response?
My typical response time for email is 1-3 business days.

Can I call/text you about my session?
I will provide my mobile number the day before/day of your session for last minute urgent updates or questions.

Image Delivery

What is your turnaround time?
Turnaround is generally 4-6 weeks, subject to 6-8 weeks during peak season.

How will I receive my photos?
Final edited images are delivered via a private online gallery, remaining active for 90 days from delivery.

Can I share my gallery with family and friends?
Yep! A guest access link will be provided, allowing visitors to view your gallery.

Do you deliver RAW/unedited images?
No, RAW/unedited images are not delivered under any circumstances.

Is rush delivery available?
Yes. I offer a 7 day turnaround for $250.

Usage Rights

Can I print my photos?
Yes! All sessions include personal printing rights.

Can I post my photos on social media?
You are welcome to share images for personal use with photo credit given.

Can I edit or add filters to my photos?
Additional editing of any kind is prohibited.

Can I use my photos for my business/branding?
No, commercial use requires a commercial license. Please email me for licensing options.

Can I opt out of being posted online?
Of course. A written opt-out via email is required prior to the session.
